What I'm Thankful for on Oppo

Good Morning fine people. Since I missed the whole introduction shenanigans yesterday while home with my feverish four year-old, I'll keep it brief.

My name is Philip, as you might have guessed from the screenname I suppose, and I'm a 30 year-old Dutch expat living in Northern VA, currently working as an instructional designer, looking to get more into marketing/advertising/design.

I currently drive a 2008 E90 335i with SP, but sadly no MT. Though this car has been troublesome since I got it almost 2 years ago, I love the shit out of it, and I hope to God that all the big issues have been worked out before my warranty will expire this coming March.

Before the BMW I owned a 2006 Mazda3 sedan with MT, which was awesome, and before that a wonderfully purple 1999 Saturn SL2, which was great on gas but not so great on everything else.

Anyway, what I'm thankful for on Oppo is all the random engineering knowledge I've gained since starting reading Oppo, from how MTs actually internally function, to blueshift in Audi's new R18 red headlights. So thanks for that, my fellow Opponauts.

Have same car w/ different rims / Awd. LOVE it to death. Bought my '07 in '11 and has been such a wonderful car to own! Sounds amazing too!

These exact rims were one of my requirements on the car. I love the way they look when the car is in motion. Sadly, of course, I can't see it when I'm driving, making it kind of useless.

This is the first car that I feel continously happy to see in my garage each and every morning.

I was bummed when BMW stopped making this color - Still is my favorite. Also my rims are a BITCH and a half to clean. Here she is all cleaned up.

Nice! I wouldn't mind some awd action, since it's 27 degrees today and my Potenzas aren't the grippiest right now!
